This new committee of parents from the boys' school have set about raising funds to improve the facilities in the school hall. They have been beavering away over the last number of months on small projects and have had a very good head start to their programme. The team have forwarded this note below for your attention.
The School Hall Improvement Project was set up in March of this year to raise funds for the school hall. This is a three year project with our first priority being the refurbishment of the toilets in the school hall. Since inception, we have had great support not only from the parents and pupils in St. Lorcan’s but also from the wider community.

We have made good progress in the four months we have been operating but still have a long way to go. Any offers of help or new ideas for fundraising are always welcome so please feel free to contact us.

We would like to express our thanks to all those who have helped us so far, from our Bag Packers in Supervalu back in March to those who donated to the clothing and gadget collection. And more recently to all our athlete’s in the Women’s mini Marathon. Thanks also to everyone who contributed to the end of year raffle.

The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of St. Lorcan’s for their help and support with a particular thanks to Mr. Brennan and Ms. Scully.
